Nepotism is the act of intermediating for another and trying to get that person to be given to him in a way that he does not deserve. It is a behavior that is vilified, undesirable and desired to be abandoned in the religion of Islam. Because merit is key. It is considered as favor in Islam.
Nepotism is among the most problematic issues of our time. In terms of Islam, it is one of the reasons for the destruction of a society.

In a hadith, he warned, “Wait for the Day of Judgment when it is given to those who are not competent,” and showed favor as a sign of Doomsday. (Bukhari “ʿIlim”, 2)
Surah Maide, verse 8 “O you who believe! Be the ones who stand firm for Allah and testify with justice. Do not let your hatred towards a society (your anger) push you towards injustice (injustice). be fair.” commands us to be just.
When we look at the Qur’an and hadiths, we see that favor is not approved and the principles of merit and justice are observed. When we look at the history of Islamic justice, we see that many famous people, who have many positions, were not favored in the face of justice.
