What is faith in angels? We will cover the subject. The word angel is an Arabic word and means messenger, envoy, who brings news.

Believing in angels is among the principles of faith, and it is obligatory according to our religion. In other words, this issue is among the important issues of our religion and belief in Islam. The first thing that comes to mind in the Qur’an is Gabriel (pbuh), who brought revelation and informed the prophets of Allah’s orders and prohibitions. Gabriel is the highest of the angels.

There is no information about the number of angels, be it the Qur’an or the hadiths of our Prophet. However, the names and duties of some of the angels are mentioned in our holy book and the hadiths of our Prophet (saas). Accordingly, there are four great angels, which are Gabriel (as)**, Mikail (as), Israfil (as) and Azrail (as). Regarding the types of angels here You can look at the article found.

Characteristics of Angels

Angels are beings who do not have male or female characteristics, do not marry, do not give birth, do not eat, drink, sleep, are invisible under normal conditions, and obey Allah’s orders. They were created from light.

They are found everywhere, in the sky, on the ground, in the air. They travel the longest distances in a very short time, and can enter in any shape and form they wish. God has given them this gift.

Angels are always busy with worshiping Allah, dhikr, rosary and sanctification day and night. These acts of worship are like food for them. They never rebel against Allah, and they never deviate from His commands. They are innocent and obedient.

Why Angels Are Invisible

Angels are Spiritual beings created from Light. With these features unique to them, they are prevented from being visible to the human eye. Because the eyes of human beings were not created to see Angels, who are luminous and intangible beings.

As a matter of fact, in a hadith, our Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (pbuh) said, “Angels were created from light, Jinns were created from pure fire.” he said. Besides, not seeing them is a necessity of the world test, and if they were seen, maybe it would be necessary to believe in obligatory and the secret of the test would be broken.

Faith in Angels Necessity of Islam

According to Ahl as-Sunnah, it is obligatory for every Muslim to believe in angels. Believing in angels, whose duties and characteristics are described in the Qur’an, is one of the principles of faith. Angels are the Spiritual beings of Allah who maintain order and order in the heavens and earth of the created realm.

They are luminous supreme beings who protect people and inspire them with goodness and goodness. For this reason, belief in angels comes after belief in Allah. The existence of angels has been given clearly in the Qur’an. For example, in the 98th verse of Surah Baqarah, where the names of some angels are also mentioned. “Whoever is hostile to Allah, the angels, his prophets, Gabriel and Michael, let him know that Allah is the enemy of the disbelievers.” He is clear about this, and to deny the Angels is to deny both the Qur’an and prophethood.

Then the existence of angels is certain, an indisputable fact. All prophets declared that angels exist. They saw the Angels and informed them of their existence.

Since angels are luminous beings existing in the visible and invisible realms, even if we do not see them, the human mind cannot deny their existence because their existence is proven by religious proofs. The prophets saw them, even though we could not see them. With the embassy of Gabriel, a great angel, they received the revelation of Allahu Teala.

Through Gabriel, they received and learned Allah’s orders and prohibitions, and directed humanity towards goodness and salvation. The existence of angels is mentioned in the Qur’an and in the hadiths of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (SAV). That’s why Muslims believe in angels foretold by the Qur’an and our Prophet.

because angels To deny means to deny the Bibles and prophets as well. Because the principles of faith are a whole. It is fard to believe in all of them and accept them. All of them are undoubtedly true, and their existence has been proven in hadiths and verses.

Just as Azrail (as) is doing his duty every day, just as it rains and snows all over the world every day and Mikail (as) does his duty, just as Jibril (as) brought revelation from Hadrat Adam Aleyhisselam to our Prophet, Israfil ‘alaihis-salam’ He will also do the task that Allah has given him, and of course, he will blow the pipe called the Sur, and he will do his duty.

Faith in Angels; In short, the word

As Muslims, we undoubtedly accept and believe in belief in angels, which is a fact of belief. Because it is clearly mentioned in the verse, and thousands of righteous, righteous and friends of Allah, who are not likely to lie, especially prophets, have seen angels. What we have to do is to believe in angels.
