One of the Companions Ammar b. It is narrated from Yasir (ra) that “Whoever prays six rak’ahs after the evening prayer, Allah will forgive his sins, even if they are as much as the foam of the sea.” (Heysemi, Mecmeu’z-Zevaid)

“After performing the Maghrib prayer, 6 rak’ahs without saying anything worldly prayer If he prays, that prayer (reward) will be equivalent to twelve years of worship.” (Tirmidhi, Salat, 209)
