What is the meaning of Sirat Bridge? What will the intercession be like? Here are the stages of the hereafter life in order in this article.

The stages of the life in the hereafter, that is, the life of the hereafter, are true and are among the principles of our religion. A person who says I am a Muslim and believes also believes in the existence of the hereafter. Almost a quarter of our Almighty Book, the Qur’an, tells about the life in the hereafter.

We Muslims do every worship and good behavior we do in this world for the sake of Allah and to have a good life in the hereafter. In order to gain Allah’s approval, we stay away from evil acts so that our hereafter will not be ruined.

What are the Stages of the Hereafter?

There are 8 stages of the Hereafter life and we can express these stages respectively as follows.

  1. Grave Life.
  2. Blow the Wall and the Wall
  3. Hashr (Resurrection) and Mahshar Square
  4. Giving the Records of Deeds
  5. Judgment Day
  6. Trial balance
  7. Sirat
  8. Intercession

Grave Life

Stages of the hereafter

The stages of the hereafter life first begin with the death of a person, the life of the grave, that is, the barzakh life. In a hadith The grave is the first of the hereafter stops. If a person escapes from that stop, he or she will pass the next stops more quickly. If he cannot escape, it will be difficult to pass the next stops.” it has been called.

The life that begins with death and continues until the time of resurrection is called life in the grave. Since this life is between the world and the hereafter, it is also called the life of barzakh. As a matter of fact, the meaning of barzakh is expressed as “barrier between two things”.

Everyone has a life in the grave. Whether he is buried in the ground by death, drowned in the sea, or burns to death, he will definitely have a spiritual life in the grave and then he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment.

When a person was put in the grave, 2 angels named Munkar and Nekir came. “Who is your Lord? Who is your prophet? What is your religion?” they ask questions. If we have faith and good morals, correct answers are given to these questions and the gates of heaven are shown by opening. If he is an unbeliever or a hypocrite, he cannot answer these questions, and the gates of hell are opened and shown to them. In this sense, while unbelievers and hypocrites suffer trouble and suffering in the grave, believers live a happy and peaceful life in the grave.

Sura Blowing

To blow on the wall means to blow with a pipe. In other words, the pipe that will be blown by Israfil (as) is called a sur, in order to express that the Doomsday has come and all people will be resurrected after the Doomsday.

Hz. The Prophet (saas) stated that the wall is a horn, a horn blown to him. However, the nature of this pipe is not known exactly.

As stated in Surah Neml, Israfil (as) will blow the horn twice. In the first, those in the heavens and on the earth will be afraid of its horror and the Hour will come, and in the second, people will be resurrected and gathered in the place of Judgment.

Hashr and Mahshar Square

Resurrection, which means to gather and come together, is the gathering of people after being resurrected to be held to account. The place where people gather is called the apocalypse square. Hashr, that is, resurrection happens with the body we are in this world, which is very easy for Allah.

Giving the Records of Deeds

At this stage, which we call the stages of the hereafter, a book of deeds will be distributed to the people gathered at the place of Judgment, in which the good and bad deeds they have done in this world life are written.

Angels named Kiramen Katibin wrote down our good deeds and sins in this book. People who see the book of deeds “Woe to us, what a book it is, it has enumerated everything we have done without leaving anything big or small” (Surah Kahf, verse 49).

Those who will go to heaven will take their notebooks from their right hand, those who will go to hell will take their notebooks from their left and back.

Judgment Day

After people take their deeds in their hands, they are taken into account by Almighty Allah, down to the smallest detail, of what they have done in the worldly life, where neither good nor evil will go unrewarded.

Stages of the Hereafter: Trial balance

It is the name of a special, special scale on which good deeds and sins are weighed. Of course, it can be said that it is a divine measure unlike any other measuring instrument in the world. Those whose goodness outweighs in this scale go to heaven, while those whose sin outweighs them go to hell.

Sirat Bridge

Sirat Bridge is a bridge placed over Hell. Everyone will pass through here. According to their deeds and degrees, believers will pass through this place, some faster and some slower. Unfortunately, unbelievers and sinners will stumble and fall into Hell. Although the exact nature of the sirat is not known, it is said that in this difficult statement, it is thinner than a hair and sharper than a sword.

Intercession

Intercession means asking someone’s forgiveness, helping, praying and begging for someone’s work to be seen. In general terms, some of the sins committed in the world hereafter It means to be an intermediary to make a request to be given up on punishment.

Hz. The Prophet (saas)Every Prophet has a prayer. On the other hand, I want to keep my prayer to intercede for my ummah on the Day of Judgment. he ordered.

Stages of the hereafter life Paradise and ends in hell. May Allah grant us the ability to pass through these stages peacefully and to do good deeds that will benefit us there.
