Surah Falak was revealed during the Medina period and has 5 verses. The word Felak in this surah means morning light.
Surah Falak is the 21st sura in the order of 113th inzal (descension) in the Qur’an. It was revealed in Mecca. Gul a’ûzu bi-Rabbi’l-falak. Min evil ma halak. And min evil ghâsik izâ vekab. And min şerri’n-neffâsâti fi’l-ukad. And min sharri hasidin iza hased.

Meaning: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and Merciful. Say: I seek refuge in your Lord, who brings forth the morning (breaking through the darkness), From the evil of what He has created, from the evil of the night when the darkness falls (black), From the evil of those who blow knots (sorcerers), And from the evil of the envious when he is envious. (I seek refuge in Allah).
Virtues of Surah Al-Falaq
