Intention for Eid prayer can be made as follows. “I have intended, my God, to perform the Eid al-Adha or Eid-al-Fitr prayer for your sake, and I followed the imam who was ready” is intended.

After this intention, one acts together with the imam:

1. Rakat: When the imam utters takbir, the takbir is taken and the hands are tied behind it.

First of all, “Subhaneke prayer” is read silently, then in order;

Just like the takbir of iftitah (that is, the takbir when we start the prayer), the hands are raised to ear level again and the 1st Takbir is taken and the hands are left to the sides, then the 2nd Takbir is said in the same way and the hands are waved to the sides again, then we say the 3rd Takbir and this time we tie our hands at the level of the navel. .

The Imam silently recites the “Euzu basmala” and recites “Surah Al-Fatiha” after the “Surah Fatiha”, or a little bit of the Qur’an, openly so that everyone can hear it. The congregation silently listens to the imam. After that, the second rak’ah is performed by performing ruku’ and prostration.

2nd Rakat: The Imam silently recites the “Basmala” and recites “Surah Fatiha” after the “Surah Al-Fatiha”, or “A little Surah”, openly for everyone to hear. The congregation listens to the imam in silence.

In the 2nd rak’ah, the hands are raised to ear level, just like iftitah takbir, without going into ruku, the 1st Takbir is said and the hands are left to the sides, then the 2nd Takbir is said and the hands are shaken to the sides again, followed by the 3rd Takbir and the hands are shaken to the sides again. After that, the 4th Takbir is recited, but without raising the hands to the level of the ears, perform ruku’. go.

Sitting behind the ruku and prostration, “Tahiyyat, Salli-Barik prayers” are read here. After that, we greet first to the right side and then to the left side, thus completing the Eid al-Fitr prayer.

After the Eid Prayer is over, the muezzin makes takbir 3 times. With these takbirs, the imam hatip ascends to the pulpit to deliver the eid sermon.

With the hope that Allah will accept the prayers of those who perform the Eid Prayer..
